Adventures in Sock Knitting

Hello. I taught myself to crochet in 1996 and to knit ~2.5 years ago, so I'm only recently a sock knitter. I suspect it's a passing phase between thread crochet and attempting to knit complicated thread stuff, just to see whether I can, but it's definitely a fun phase; I love the fact that socks can be basic or obnoxiously complex, that they're portable while one works on them, and that something useful (usually) results from the time spent....
